At present, medium and small transformer substation is our emphases of energy development. Large transformer substations with computer surveillance system are used widely in our country, however, the medium and small transformer substation has simple locale signals and limited economic conditions, and computer monitoring and control system of transformer substation has particularity. According to the monitoring and control mode of large transformer substation, at the same time, considering the work characteristics of medium and small transformer substation, being based on the 10KV transformer substation, basic requirements , structure configure and measures of monitoring and control system are mainly studied in medium and small transformer substation.Basic principles and function of monitoring and control system are analyzed in accordance with the development of international monitoring and control system. By comparing the realization technology of Field Bus, popular, simple , economic and high-reliability CAN-bus technology is used with the good Delphi language of control interface in software design, at the same time, structure of monitoring and control system is divided and designed, and 10KV some aspects are introduced detailedly, including main monitoring software of system, database systems, flash making system, and study thinking, study method, realization of the main functions of safe analysis of circuitry.In host computer control system, mainly achieve choice of serial communication control, the collection of real-time data updating display and historical data charts analysis. Taking into account the real-time nature of the monitoring system, to ensure a stable serial communications software is the key of the whole software, in the electric power system, we need a lot of real-time data and preserve historical data, so the monitoring of local database is an important component of the system. And a detailed exposition of using MS SQL Server to organize the data, and how to use ODBC technology to achieve database operation, query historical data and print report forms. Eventually we completely realize the stability of communications, power capabilities of data manipulation real-time monitoring system. The system has passed the initial test in the laboratory now.
