With further speed up the development of intelligent power grid construction in our country, digital and intelligent measurement, protection, control, and communications devices have become an important and indispensable in the substation system units, it can not only ensure the reliability of power supply system, it can improve power supply quality and operating efficiency, and record the normal operation of the data, analysis the cause of the problem and so on. so the research and design a digital substation measurement and control protection device for transformer substation of further development is also very necessary. With electronics industry and the rapid development of computer technology, the relay protection has entered into the era of microcomputer relay protection, namely the one-chip computer to replace the traditional relay, so as to realize the intelligent protection and other functions.The existing domestic and foreign advanced digital substation measurement and control instrument is usually measurement control and protect, tong, and other functions into an organic whole, in the distribution system of the secondary design USES a single integrated device to realize all previous two components function,either as the basis of substation system components, can also be used as a basic intelligent switchgear electrical components. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign products and domestic demand, on the basis of absorbing and taking advantages of them, we design a digital substation measurement and control based on single chip microcomputer as the master control system protection instrument. Its89s52microprocessor is used to design the whole hardware platform, the system has low pow:er consumption, small volume, strong real-time performance, high integration, etc. This design has completed the following functions:intelligent monitoring, measurement and display of the runtime of voltage, current, active and reactive power, power factor, switch status, protection and control of short circuit, over current, current instantaneous fault and inverse time protection alarm and action and the abnormal situation, setting function for multiple remote/on-site. overload and other related data set, communication functions all the operation to the main control center.
