In recent years, with the rapid development of China electric power system industry, high efficiency of electric power transmission completely has become an important issue in the national development. The transformer is an important equipment of the transmission of electrical energy, and the transformer with large capacity and high voltage supply power in a large range. The damage of the transformer will cause confusion in the power grid and result in the termination of power supply in part of the electricity area. Therefore, the reliability of the transformer quality is directly related to the safe and stable supply of electricity, affects the normal supply of electricity in industrial and agricultural production as well as people’s daily life and greatly restricts the development of the national economy. As an important means to test the quality of transformer product, Transformer Test can ensure the transformer manufacturers for product quality management effectively and become an essential part of the power system transmission.Throughout the development trend of China electric power system industry, although all aspects are in the course of quickly and continuously improvement, the degree of automation of the domestic transformer test still has a certain gap with that of foreign countries, and the automation of the transformer temperature rise test is even at a disadvantage stage. Therefore, the design of transformer temperature rise test monitoring and control system is particularly important. This thesis chooses the transformer temperature rise test as the research object and designs the transformer temperature rise test monitoring and control system. This system adopts the ATmega128 AVR microcontroller as the core of the system control equipment, uses ATT7022B chip as the data acquisition and chooses RS232 serial communication structure way.This thesis describes the importance, principle, calculation methods of the transformer temperature rise test and designs the transformer temperature rise test monitoring and control systems. In terms of the hardware side, the author selects the components of the implementation of the various parts, introduces basic information and technical parameters of the components, then offers the main circuit schematic; in terms of the software side, the author provides the main program flow chart and the C language is adopted to write the SCM core preparation and realizes the monitoring and control functions.Through experimental determination, this system is able to complete the monitoring and control of the transformer temperature rise test, enhance the degree of automation, reduce the workload and human error and increase the quality and reliability of the transformer.
