Wireless and Remote Transmitting System for Physiological Signals is a health care system and can be applied to telemonitoring and HomeHealthCare. The system, which is composed of remote monitoring devices, GSM communication system and monitoring center, is a compositive subject of technology of teletransmitting, information, health care and embedded system design. In the remote transmitting system for physiological signals those abnormal physiological signals, after being inspected and analysed , will be sent to monitoring center by GSM.Firstly remote monitoring device is designed according to the principles of embedded designing scheme. ARM microprocessor is the kernel of hardware.μC/OS-II, the embedded Real Time Operating System for the embedded system, is ported to the system. To make operating system more suitable to the practical application, relevant peripheral hardwares'driving softwares are programmed . Thus the capability of data processing and being developed of the system is increased. Then communication between remote monitoring device and monitoring center is completed based on GSM communication system. We used Siemens'Wireless Module TC35i to design GSM modem,which can modulate the datas and send datas to monitoring center by way of SMS. At last in the monitoring center not only serial communication softwares and others are programmed to receive,send and process datas .
