| Agile maintenance(AM)is an new concept for logistics, it can be applied to maintenance for advanced manufacturing system. In china, study on for AM for manufacturing system is in initial stage. This dissertation focuses on researching of the theory and the method of maintenance resources optimization for AM.Firstly, methods to optimize maintenance resources and corresponding optimization mathematical model for maintenance resources are introduced; this dissertation focus on optimization of spare parts , the optimization model for spare parts based on reliability of manufacturing system is established, then the optimization algorithm for spare parts is put forward. After that, under the restraint conditions of safeguard rate and the maintenance cost, the genetic algorithm (GA) is used to optimize the spare parts according to actual maintenance tasks. Through simulation experiment, the effect of GA for practical spare parts optimization is proved. The maintenance resource management system for AM has been developed. In the end, this dissertation is summarized and some further researches are suggested.
