When we research the various capability of vehicle, the modeling analysis and solution is always the linchpin. Multi-Body Dynamic theory software provides a powerful mathematics analysis tool for the vehicle dynamic research. ADAMS is the most authoritative software on Multi-Body Dynamic theory,it can analyse the dynamics and the statics of mechanics.Depend on it,engineers can built the complex mechanic'Virtual prototyping'model, on the condition of real vehicle working, it can simulate exactly.and it can compare many solutions until acquire the best one.so it can reduce the cost of manufacturing the prototype. This paper is take ADAMS for example, concretely analyze the modeling antilogy and character of Multi-Body Dynamic theory software, also take a example for analyze by use ADAMS create the dynamic model of chassis, improve the capability of vehicle by change suspension parameters to make simulation result more credibility. Many simulation analysis and optimize only analyze the optimization of suspension that changed parameters, such as optimize the mutative curve between Coordinate Coefficients of Front Wheels and wheel travel, or optimize of the suspension stiffness etc, Which is far off the vehicle capability optimize. This paper take the optimization of handling and stability as object, optimized the front suspension, then create chassis dynamic model, and compare with the real vehicle examination to validate veracity of the model. In Conclusion, this paper did the vehicle system simulation and optimization with ADAMS. Combine with chassis dynamic model of ADAMS and optimize the parameters of front suspension, we made biggish increased of the roll center and roll stiffness of the vehicle. The vehicle's roll stability is biggish improved.
