Dynamic Reliability Research For Structure

During the period of their serves, many engineering structures are inevitable to endure dynamic forces and the dynamic failure will be their main failure modes. Therefore, it is important both on theory and practical application to perform the dynamic reliability analysis for the structures. The reliability analysis aim is to obtain the accurate failure probability or the reliability index and the present thesis carries on the attempts in the above aspects. The random variables are described with Monte Carlo sampling technique and the dynamic responds are obtained with dynamic finite elements method and the responds probability density functions are imitated with the maximum entropy method. So the safety margin equation can be established and the failure probability and the probability index can be obtained. The main research works of the thesis are as following:1. Combined with Monte Carlo sampling technique and the maximum entropy method, the random dynamic analysis problem of structure has been successfully solved, with which one extremely effective numerical analysis method to obtain all kinds of structures' responds under the random powers is provided.2. The method of the goodness of fit is given to test the imitated probability density function, which makes the maximum entropy method more perfect.3. Based on the dynamic mechanics basic theories, the finite elements program to calculate the dynamic problem is authorized, with which the structure characteristic can be analyzed and the probability analysis can be carried on.In brief, the dynamic probability mode of structures is established, and the research in this thesis lays a function for future academic investigation and practical application.
