The sea is the cradle of lives on the Earth. The exploitation and exploration of the sea not only is the urgent request of science and economy development but also has political, martial and diplomatic significance. Submarine is one of the most important facilities in ocean exploitation and research. The thesis has made a study of submarine propulsion control.At first, the thesis studied the match of submarine, engine, propeller, analyzed the effect of the Potential Wake Fraction and the propeller, discussed all the element of the propulsion efficiency and propulsion coefficient .The system composed of submarine, engine and properller is designed and the properller is chose.Then, the electro-hydraulic servo system is analyzed and established, which contain the selection of electro-hydraulic servo valve, hydraulic motor and amplifier ,the establishment of the hydraulic system's model and open-Loop transfer function and the analysis of the system's property.At last, using MATLAB, the paper has made a system simulation model, simulated respectively dynamic characteristic of the system under the condition of different signal inputs or loadsand, got the dynamic response of motor rotate speed outputs. The result of the simulation show that: the designed submarine propulsion control system have favorable capability.
