In reservoir water-level changing situation, the stability of slope is always a difficult problem which in the hydroelectric power station construction process must face to, adopting the appraisal method mainly for the qualitative analysis and quantitative evaluation method, in the quantitative evaluation process, the biggest factor affects the stability of slope is phreatic surface changing situation, how to correctly confirm the phreatic surface in reservoir water-level changing situation is very important to the stable analysis result.This article take the left bank slope in front of the Yalong River GuanDi hydroelectric power station as the project example, first, in the massive detailed the slope engineering geology characteristic investigation foundation and the geological environment which the slope locates, summarizing the slope engineering geology characteristic, the basic pattern of slope failure and deformation and the mode of slope failure and deformation in future, in addition to carrying on the stable district to the slope—A1 A2 B1 B2 C, D1 D2 E.In view of the slope engineering geology characteristic, making to the rigorous Janbu method suitably improvement and consideration in reservoir water-level change situation phreatic surface computation, making the improvement the rigorous Janbu method can calculate the factor of safety in reservoir water-level changing situation.Finally, according to the improved rigorous Janbu method and transmitting coefficients expression computes the factor of safety in reservoir water-level changing situation of the slope and appraisal to the slope by the factor of safety.
