To define the measurements, mark some point on the head according to the skeletal point. And select some measurement objects who are the public of southwest China. Measure and scan the objects with caliper and scanner and get the cloud point of head model.But the head is a complex and anomalistic model, it's hard to get the CAD model with traditional measurement. Furthermore, the current research about body measuring and modeling is just for costume and military affairs, and pay more attention to the head dimension and shape.With the development of human nature during the manufacturing, body CAD model is widely applied in industry design, ergonomics, engineering design, humanics research and iatrology research. The body CAD model also can be the basic data for the design of respirator. The dimension of the respirator should be correspond with the workers'head dimension then the respirator could fit the workers well and have a better effect. So the real head model is required to design such good respirator.
