Automated mechanical transmission (AMT) is a newly developing automatic transmission technology and catches researchers'attention in many countries. The AMT is more efficient and has lower cost than traditional automatic transmission (AT). Automated mechanical transmission, which has high performance and low price, can be manufactured by manual transmission product line with low equipment investment. It is the automatic transmission which fits the reality of automobile industry in China and has broad prospects of manufacturing and wide application.A great deal of study on AMT has been done, AMT products have been put into market in foreign development countries, and most domestic research institutes are heading for the development of intelligent AMT, but the study on AMT in domestic research institutes stays at the phase of theory or offline simulation, which idealizes the driving environment, mechanical action and signal transmission. The result is warp from the reality, and is difficult for developing a car product and not propitious to AMT industrialization process.The work of this dissertation is to implement an automatic control system for AMT based on dSPACE. The engine and transmission box of SC7130 were taken as research objects to develop the auto-shift laws, a real-time simulation program was developed based on the real-time simulation work platform of dSPACE, an AMT test rig was built up, and then a series of tests were carried out on test rig.First of all, the dynamic and economic performance tests on engine JL474Q1 were carried out according to the measurement of engine performance test, and the study on the engine performance was done. The dynamic and economic auto-shift laws were developed based on the engine performance datum, in which the method for calculating down-shift law was emphasized. The defects of the standard auto-shift law were discussed and correct measurement was put forward. In order to realize intelligent shift control, the influence from driver intention and road gradient was especially studied, correct measurements on standard auto-shift law were put forward, and layered auto-shift law was built. In order to realize start-up smoothly, the control strategy for coordinating clutch and throttle was studied, and the non-linear control algorithm based on the clutch position was built.Then, the AMT test rig with the same engine and transmission box as the car...
