The Research And Implementation Of Product Lifecycle Data Management Technology Based On PDM

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a new technology to manage product related data and process throughout the product's lifecycle(from concept to retirement) across the extended enterprise. PLM, derived from Product Data Management (PDM) , develops PDM technology and extends its application areas and effects. The paper presents a new concept, named key product data driving operation collaboration among different participants during product lifecyle. Data communication and product lifecycle data management can be realized by key product data transfer and usage among different departments and participants. The most of study contents are as following:First of all, on the basis of analysis of business process and data flow during product variation lifecycle, a new concept named key product data supporting opertation collaboration among different participants in Extended Enterprises is put forward. And several kinds of key data is also discussed. The paper points out that key product data is main content of product lifecycle data management and it plays an important role in PLM.The paper presents requirement to product model of PLM. And a new technique is put forward in detail with which information model can be built according to different stages in product lifecycle. The process of building product information model is also discussed. The new information model can describe constraint relations among different relevant information entities during product lifecyle in detail. And both data communications among different departments and integration requirement of different systems are also described.In concept phase, the thesis presents a new mechanism and a method on how to provide VoC to product developer by salesman. The paper elaborates on the structure of VoC providing model and the process of comment about VoC. Statistics of comment result is also discussed.
