The rapid development of networking technology has brought profound revolution to the manufacturing industry and has greatly advanced the development of networking manufacturing.In order to shorten the product development cycle, reduce the product development cost,improve the product development quality,and enhanced the competitiveness of the manufacturing enterprise,networking manufacturing emphasizes the collaboration and information sharing between departments during the whole lifecycle of the product development.However,due to the reason that product information is characterized by distribution,dynamic,and heterogeneity etc,it is very difficulty to implement the uniform,transparent,seamless, and effective information sharing.Moreover,because the product information is shared via the Internet which is an open network,anyone or any organization can freely plug in,so that,the security of the shared product information sharing is suffered serious threaten.Aiming to address the problems described above,sponsored by the key projects of National Science Foundation of China,guided by the research philosophy of "study relevant theories,strive for critical technological breakthroughs, and solve the practical problems",this thesis focuses the research on the relative theories and key technologies of product information sharing.The main contributions of the thesis are described as follows:(1) Firstly,the conception model,control model,sharing level of product information sharing,the establishment theory of product information library,and the assessment parameters of QoS for product information sharing,are studied.Then, through the research on the basic theories and key technologies of product information modelling,a STEP-based Product Modelling Framework(GPMF) is proposed.The proposed GPMF framework can provides a generic,standard,and neutral mechanism for modelling different types of products during the whole lifecycle of the product development.All the product information is encapsulated in the product model,which can be accessed and manipulated by different operation system and application programs.Therefore,the product information sharing during the whole lifecycle can be achieved. (2) Based on the GPMF framework,taking injection moulding products as an example,the integrated product data model is established.According to certain mapping mechanisms,the product model is mapped to a relational product database. Therefore,the product data can be uniformly stored and managed by the database. Taking the product database as the core,a centralized product information sharing prototype system is developed.Through the system,user can access,search,edit and manage the information stored in the product database via the Internet/Intranet. Consequently,the product information sharing is implemented.(3) Through the research on the connotation and characteristics of Manufacturing Grid(MGrid),an MGrid system which focuses on product information sharing is proposed.The system architecture consists of a distributed information aggregation layer,a network infrastructure layer,a protocol layer,an information management layer,a grid service middleware layer,a grid application layer,and a grid portal.Based on the MGrid,a distributed product information sharing prototype system is developed.The system can provides an efficient,dynamic, transparent and secure information sharing platform for seamless sharing of the distributed,heterogeneous product information.In order to further improve the efficiency of the developed system,the workflow technology and the concurrently distributed information query process are also investigated.(4) By analyzing the existing problems of secure product information sharing, the related key technologies to ensure the security of product information sharing are investigated.Then,an information security architecture for product information sharing is proposed.On the one hand,the login,authentication,access operation of users can be monitored,the copyright of the product information can be protected, and the activity of users can be audited as well.Based on the proposed information security architecture for product information sharing and the centralized product information sharing prototype system,a secure product information sharing prototype system is developed.The architecture,logical structure and each function module are described.The running interfaces of typical modules are demonstrated to verify the feasibility of the developed system.
