The Research On Plant Landscape In ShaoShan Scenic Area

With the rapid development of economy and the rise of tourism, the number of visitors to scenic areas is increasing. The increase in the number, the overexploitation of tourist attractions and the unreasonable construction of facilities make the natural landscape resources in scenic areas suffered severe damage caused by the deterioration of the ecological environment, thus, it has brought a series of problems to the scenic areas of sustainable development, increasingly attracted the world attention. As an important component of the landscape resources in scenic areas, plants resource plays an important role both in enhancing the landscape value of the resources in scenic areas and in improving of the ecological environment. However, there are little comprehensive and systematic research on plant landscape in scenic areas. Based on the foundation of consulting the domestic and foreign scenic spots in the correlative research literature materials, the author takes the Shaoshan Scenic Area as the research object, collects the massive primitive basic data and uses the random sampling method by carrying on the on-the-spot investigation in 48 choosen types places. After the basic data is obtained, supported by GIS technology, the author analyzes the pattern, the composition, the types, the tendency and the characteristics of the plant resources in ShaoShan Scenic Area systematically and thoroughly by using relative theory and method of phytoeconology and landscape ecology, and it is hoped that follwing results can provide the scientific theoretical basis for the management of plant landscape in Shaoshan Scenic Area:Firstly, the author analyzes the plant landscape pattern with some landscape ecology principles and GIS technology. The result indicates that: (1) In the landscape patch characteristic index analysis in the region scope, the landscape patches are divided into 9 types, 3,028 patches in total, among which the broad-leaved forest landscape with 802 patches is the most and accounts for 26.49% of the total patches number. In the plant landscape type area statistics, Pinus massoniana accounts for 23.83% of the total area primarily, the broad-leaved forest accounts for total area 10.71% for auxiliary and other various forests are relatively less. (2) In ShaoShan Scenic Area, the plant landscape diversity index is 1.3720, which is a high diversity index; but its evenness index is 0.4757, the plant landscape distributes unevenly.
