3-demension coordinate measure technology has been expected to be more and more accurate due to the fast development of measurement technology and the whole industry, and is being lead to intelligentize, highly-accurate, free-to-use, and online dynamic measurement. As a result, being complex, large and slow, classical mechanic measuring machine cannot fit the fast application of measurement, while the study of new 3D measurement technology that becomes more and more fast and easy to use is gaining more and more attention.This paper is mainly about a three-D coordinate measurement system, which is based on intersection converge imaging principle ,using space probe . This system has a simplified structure and no rail restrict, with the advantage of both the classical three-coordinate machine and the visual method . It is proved to be efficiency in the settlement of the"hidden point"issue , which brings forth a better solution. Easy to use, fast measurement, real-time , all advantages have been gathered together in this system. That is, this in-hand measurement system is a new step in the visual coordinate measurement field, having both important value in theory and application.This measurement system is based on module-design. 3 sets of angle measurement system are used for the receiving and locating, and by using the astigmatism filter, the remained circuit of CCD system transforms the optical signal into electrical signal, and by applying the data acquiring card, ADC is used and the data will be preceded by computer. Software will be used so that the result will be generated automatically.The main work of this paper is as below:1,The basic measurement principle of the coordinate measurement system is studied, while system structure is well designed, and optimization is based on alignment.2,The general designs of space probe has been done. Material, structure, selection of light source, CCD camera type and number are analyzed in this paper.3.Redundancy and self-calibration technology is introduced in the structure design .
