At present, a great deal of disaster beyond question shows that the effects of vertical earthquake to structure are universal, especially to long-span structure. Steel mega-frame with suspended floors is one of newfashioned long-span structures whose vertical reaction to vertical earthquake is relatively large, there is no specific entry in domestic seismic design code about whether or not to take into account vertical earthquake and how to think over vertical earthquake. At the same time, recently the control technology mostly focuses on reducing the reaction to horizontal earthquake, the control research on vertical earthquake is less, so it is important in the theory and practice domain to control the vertical vibration of mega steel frame with suspended floors arosed by vertical earthquake.Whereas noted vertical ground motions is lack, based on the theory of the phase-difference spectrum on the non-station of ground motions and response-spectrum-compatibility, vertical ground motions are generated, which many factors including site, intensity, epicentral distance and the non-station of ground motions are taken into account.
