The quick development of modern network technology supplies a new approach to the remote share and control of scientific instrument and device .Network based teleoperation of physical device system in remote place not only enables the support for remote learning and research, but also builds the technological base for the network manufacturing, commercial service and network military application in the future. The work described in this thesis depended on the resource advantages of SKLoFP in Zhejiang University, focused on the study of network based teleoperation of hydraulic system and applied the theoretical outcomes to bulid an experimental platform for the undergraduate teaching. The thesis firstly reviewed related research projects conducted in this field at home and abroad, analysed the research background of this project and put forword the meaning, intention and content of this research. Then according to the basic theory of network teleoperation, the thesis studied on the control theory and implementation methods of the teleoperation based on Internet/Intranet and set up the architechture of hydraulic system teleoperation which is applicable to Internet. Meanwhile, it went into details the makeup of hardware system, including control valves, sensor, control circuit and DAQ module and the design of software system structure which is based on the methodology of software engineering. The software of the system employed JDK as the basic tool and utilizes the object oriented principle to design the functional modules, and realized the real-time communication between application server and clients with the Windows Socket technology and TCP/IP protocol and finally succeeded in establishing the experimental platform of hydraulic teleoperation.
