The vehicle handling and stability performance consists of two parts, the ability of correctly tracking under driver's will and the ability of direction keeping against disturbances. It is a critical factor affecting the driving safety of vehicles. Especially in the manufacture of high-speed cars, the vehicle handling and stability is the mainly criterion in vehicle performances evaluation. And how to design a car with good handling and stability performance is a key problem for all researchers.Simulation technology is being used more and more widely in the field of engineering. With the development of multi-body dynamics, virtual prototype technology was applied to study the vehicle handling and stability performance.The thesis main research achievements are as follows:First, to realize the virtual development of automobile products, a virtual car model was built for a certain domestic passenger car by the means of ADAMS, in which front and real suspensions, steering system, tires, road and the vehicle body are considered.Second, according to national standard, the virtual experiment on handling behavior (pylon course slalom test and double lane change test)...
