Hyperthermia is a new effective kind of method in cancer treatment;it heats up the cancer cell through the microwave to kill it. So the precise temperature measurement is very important for hyperthermia. The temperature can not be measured well by traditional thermometry which based on electric thermocouple or on thermistor because of the electromagnetic interference (EMI). While the optical-fiber thermometry can avoid the EMI essentially, it can be used in hyperthermia clinic.On the basis of thoroughly analysis and research about present situation of the technology of temperature measurement based on optical-fiber at home and abroad, a viewpoint of translating the existing temperature measurement device based on optical-fiber for industry into for hyperthermia clinic is put forward. And a lot of experiments and study of the theory about enhancing the sensitivity, interchangeability, stability are executed.After analyzing the theory of fluorescence, the experiment on testing the temperature sensitivity of fluorescent material is executed, and then the curves of five fluorescent materials on temperature sensitivity, which afford the gist on choosing fluorescent materials used in sensor, are given. After analyzing the theory of fluorescent spectrum, the experiment on testing the spectrum of fluorescent material is executed, and then the advice on improving the ability of interchanging is put afford. The mathematic model of getting temperature parameters from electrical signal is found. The data processing method of least square approximation is adopted, and a new method using the measure of integral and ratio is raised, and the two methods are compared. A new method on approaching the fluorescent curve by exponent is put forward.Some of the conclusions now have concluded must be useful to the further research on this subject.
