TPMS is a abbreviation of Tire Pressure Monitoring System. It is used in the facet of real-time auto-detection of tire air-pressure when driving. It can give the alarm in order that safe when the air leaking from the tire and low-air-pressure. It is a system of safeguard for drivers. The malfunction of tyre is an important reason that causing traffic-accident, and also it is an important thing for drivers. It is reported that the proportion of traffic-accident caused by blowout is 70% in our country, but the proportion is 80% in American. The blowout of tire results in enormous economy lose, so how to prevent blowout have become an important problem of safe-driving for discussion. The research shows the keys of preventing blowout are to retain standard air-pressure and to find the leaking of tire timely. So the Tire Pressure Monitoring System has been designed.TPMS is consist of two parts: one is an Remote Tire Pressure Monitoring (RTPM) module setting tire and another is an centric monitor (LCD) setting driver's seat. The remote tire pressure monitoring module is installed in every tire to measure t air-pressure and temperature of tire, which be transmitted by high radio frequency wave. A TPMS has 4 or 5 RTPM modules . Centric monitor receives signal from RTPM module and display the data of air-pressure and temperature on the screen for drivers. If air-pressure or temperature become abnormity, the system will give alarm for drivers, drivers have enough time to take some measures. With China economy keeps on developing, more and more ordinary families have car, the security of driving car have become more important. So, it is very important signification that researching Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
