With the continuous development of the modern production, the pipe belt conveyor wins more and more favor for its better protection of the environment, high working efficiency and large economic profits in the field of the transport of bulk solids material. At present there are no complete design methods and the research of the wind resistance analysis is seldom seen in terms of the whole frame of the pipe belt conveyor in China because of the individual characteristics of its structure. The pipe belt conveyor studied in this paper is used in coastal areas. Therefore, the adaptable research for the wind load of the environment is of certain significance for the whole frame of the pipe belt conveyor.The static and dynamical parameterized finite element model of the whole frame of the pipe belt conveyor and the fluid dynamic parameterized finite element model of the structural section are established by the software ANSYS of the finite element analysis. And then the static wind load of the whole frame of the pipe belt conveyor is calculated through the average wind pressure theory and computer simulation technology. The analysis of static conditions is carried out for the whole frame of the pipe belt conveyor which is loaded by the deadweight, the working load and static wind load in order to see the adaptability of the whole frame of the belt pipe conveyor for the steady wind condition.The dynamical modeling analysis is made by the software ANSYS for whole frame of the pipe belt conveyor in order to seek the weak parts of the structure design. At the same time, the preceding six steps natural frequency and mode shape of the structure are obtained. The results indicate whether the distribution of mass and the joint of every component are reasonable for the whole frame structure with long distance and multiple elastic bracings will have a relatively great impact on the dynamical performance of the whole structure.This paper selects the pulsating wind power density spectrum of Davenport and simulates the wind speed time series and the wind load time by MATLAB. Considering the vertical and horizontal correlation of the pulsating wind, the study make use of the time domain analysis of buffeting to carry out the transient dynamic analysis of the whole frame structure which is loaded by the random pulsating wind load.
