This subject bases on summarizing of several kinds suspensions which been used usually, set up dual longitudinal arm with tortile spring suspension and rear longitudinal arm suspension entity model at the same time, use the displacement matrix law to carry on kinematical analyse to this two kinds. Utilize ADAMS to carry on kinematics emulation to the models built, and optimize this two kinds.The thesis of the virtual prototype technology has introduce at first, analyse the theoretical foundation of ADAMS. Then, recommend various kinds of suspensions used commonly and parameters of them, and design dual longitudinal arm with tortile spring suspension , steering system and rear longitudinal arm suspension model at the same time.Then Basic theories of the space coordinate varying and the space body balancing has recommended, take suspension and steering system as a whole when carrying on kinematics analyse to five-link suspension, create a kinematics analytical method can apply to many kinds of suspension and steering system. Then Utilize this method to take kinematical analyse of dual longitudinal arm with tortile spring suspension and rear longitudinal arm suspension, then calculate the parts position transformation relationship in mathematics, some suspension and steering characteristics such as the position and orientation of kingpin and wheel, roll steer which influence the vehicle dynamics performance are calculated. Effects of elastic deformation for rubber bushings on these suspensions and steerin-device characteristics are investigated.Finally , introduce the mechanism theosis of dual longitudinal arm with tortile spring suspension and rear longitudinal arm suspension, and utilize ADAMS to take the emulation to dual longitudinal arm with tortile spring suspension and rear longitudinal arm suspension, then get performance parameters of this two suspensions, and optimize the steering system . It proved that this method and the two suspension models are correct.This subject is a try with the actual project meaning, two kinds of new suspensions was design and verified. Its completion, will raise the designed capacity and design precision by theory and means, ruduce the design cycle, it will generate an active impact on automobile trade of our country.
