The current research situation of electric vehicle and suspension system at home and abroad is expounded,and the process of model is analyzed by using ADAMS / Car.The optimization of the structure parameters of the suspension is designed to not only improve the suspension performance,but also in a small number of test cases,to mastering a lot of information on the suspension,reduce the cost of designing and manufacturing.In order to improve the independent research and development of electric vehicle operation stability and ride comfort,to meet the the vehicle comfort requirements of drivers,in this paper,two kinds of electric vehicle rear suspension(1.leaf spring rear suspension,2.coil spring rear suspension)are researched and optimized,and then the optimal electric vehicle suspension system is established.First of all,based on the original Thevenin equivalent system,the suspension dynamics model is derived and the variable parameters in the model are summarized by using the formulas.Secondly,The simulation and analysis of stability and ride comfort are carried out by using ADAMS /Car dynamics simulation.Eighteen groups of suspension parameters are optimized by orthogonal test,and the optimal combination of suspension parameters was obtained.Finally,ADAMS / Car is used to simulate and analyze the improved scheme and compare it with the results before and after the optimization.It is verified that the correctness of the control arm is improved,and the control arm is improved effectively.The results show that the rubber element,the coil spring and the shock absorber have obvious influenced on the riding comfort of the vehicle.According to the road surface,the design requirements and the implementation conditions the main improvement objective is to determine the spring stiffness and shock absorber damping.Appropriately reducing the spring stiffness and improving the shock absorber damping are conducive to improving vehicle ride comfort,small adjustments between them can be achieved with a more significant improvement.
