The Research In New Product Design Notion

With the appearance of the experience economy----a whole new economical pattern, people's idea of life was increasingly changed from material to mind, from hardware to software, from reason to sense. we need a new design notion to adapt to the new times and the new traits of consumer. The author creatively put forward this new design concept called experience design on the basis of the experience economy . Under this concept, besides beautiful outlook, usefulness, function designers should put more traits to industrial products, such as multifunction, comfortable, Individual and something related to consumer's inner world. It can be concluded that experience design is the design which based on humanism, pursue multifunction, comfortable and personalized traits.Chapter 2 mainly expounds the emergence of experience economy times, tells us what is experience economy and some characteristics of experience economy, meanwhile, analyse the foundation and general situation for its development in home and abroad.All of this about experience economy is to provide the background and basis with experience design.Firstly, the author researched on the relationship between the development of economical pattern and design notion, suggested that new economical pattern should concert with new design notion. We could learn some basic needs that consumer hold under the experience economy in chapter 3. They were beautiful outlook, emotional, entertainment and recreation oriented and personlized goods. Then put forth that human, science and technology and market are four main factors which influence the industrial design, pointed out the direction and trend of industrial design. Throughout those analyses, author drew the conclusion that the new industrial design notion which fittid in with experience economy is experience design, the design notion based on experience.Chapter 4 is the most important in the whole paper, it mainly presented the basic concept, principle, type, expression skill and evaluation system of experience design, and stresses six parts in experience design: sensatory experience design, emotional experience design, reflective experience design, bahavior experience design and relative experience design and mixed experience design.In chapter 5 , the author used some cases to analyse the six parts of this new design...
