In recent years, fire occurred in a higher frequency. Installing automatic fire detectors in buildings is an important means to prevent fires. Installation of traditional fire detectors needs a lot of time and energy, and building structures were destroyed. Wireless fire alarm detectors can avoid such problems effectively.Wireless fire alarm detector researched in this paper has a new structure, the sensor and detector are isolated. We can choose appropriate sensors according to different surroundings. The coder is specially designed for writing detectors'ID and transmission channels codes in E2PROM, so as to achieve large-scale fire detection. The detected information, such as fire alarm, failure, low power, loss of detector, was transmitted to the controller through wireless communication.This paper described the fire detector and coder on the hardware and software design in detail. The core of the detector is microcontroller-P87LPC764, the hardware circuits include four parts: low power and loss detection circuit, clock circuit, memory circuit, power supply circuit, achieving fire detection and treatment. The core of the coder is microcontroller-AT89C51, the hardware circuits include two parts: display circuit, keys circuit, used for writing detectors'ID and transmission channels codes. In software design, structured programming method was used. Because P87LPC764 has excellent ability of date processing, high speed and simple instruction, assemble language can write efficient program.This wireless fire alarm detector has advantage of small size, low consumption, wireless data transmission, installation and debugging simple, and particularly suitable for protection of temporary sites and historical place. Experiments proved that this detector can detect fire in complex surroundings through replacement of different sensors with very high reliability. Therefore, the detectors have promising market prosperity and valuable promotion.
