In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology of spaceship and airplane, electronic devices become more and more complicated. As one of the most important electric connectors in electronic product, contact pin is widely applied to space ships. The contact diameter size directly influences the electric reliability of the electronic system.In order to meet the demand of measuring the contact pin more efficiently and accurately, we need to develop a system that have both measurment and fraction function. Many factories still used calipers to before now, which don't have the fraction function. In this thesis, contact pin is the object of study, we develop a suit of system which can achieve the purpose of self-feeding, automatic measurement, automatic fraction, and we've done a series of experiments.We've designed the integral structures of the system. The structure of the system is partitioned into four parts: self-feeding unit, automatic measurement unit, automatic fraction collector and software. Base on the requirement of the measurement, we also designed the way to achieve the purpose and introduce the principles of each part.On the mechanic design of the self-feeding unit, according to the actual structure of the contact pins, we've adopted the way of vibratory hopper feeder for self-feeding, and designed a suit of sensing and storing equipment. With the equipment, the contact pin can enter the measurement equipment in accord with the same pose.On the mechanic design of the automatic measurement unit, we use the linear CCD optoelectronic micrometer sensors for automatic-measurement, and we designed wheel disk automatic structure and carry out the automatic measurement of the contact pin's external diameter.One the mechanic design of the automatic fraction unit, we designed the mechanical structure of the unit with a rotating fraction slot.
