Low-voltage circuit breaker is an important electricity-distributed equipment. Its function and quality plays a crucial role in the low-voltage switch equipment set. Simulation technology is applied on the Low-voltage circuit breaker so as to save the time of making the physical prototype, reduce the period of exploring the new products and make the products more competitive in the market. The paper ,with the Low-voltage circuit breaker as its objective,Combines with the key technological research programs of Hangzhou city, and does some research in the following aspects,over-current heat simulation of the primary components and parts, the analysis of electromagnetic force, the optimalized design of the electromagnet, And constructing a platform of the simulation and optimalization of Low-voltage circuit breaker. We analyse the over-current trip by means of electricity-heat-structural coupling method and do the second development of the Ansys software for the sake of the design of the low-voltage circuit breaker series. The electromagnetic system design of instantaneous trip used to be calculated on the basis of experience and magnetic circuit and made low precision. By means of the numerical method of the Ansys electrical-magnetic field , the magnet's static attraction force can be worked out , according to whose analytical result , a fairly satisfactory design will be obtained through improvement and meanwhile the efficiency will be enhanced. This paper , makes use of the multi-disciplinary optimization design software ISIGHT with the alliance of Solidworks and Ansys to make the integral optimization analysis. We adopt an overall searching optimal algorithm , i.e. genetic algorithms to achieve an optimized result of design and provide a method and framework for the integral optimization of electromagnets which can be well applied in the design of other types of electromagnets...
