Research On The Intelligent Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder

The vehicle traveling data recorder is a digital electronic recording equipment, which can record and store the speed, time and other information that is relevant to automobile traveling status, and also can realize the outputs via the interface. It can record the parameters on driving and the operation behavior of the driver which can be fed back to the administrators and the drivers.Installing and using the vehicle traveling data recorder is an important method to strengthen the monitoring of safe driving so as to prevent and reduce the traffic accidents. It is also very useful to prevent the deregulation behavior such as fatigue driving, over speed and so on, and to restrict the bad driving habits of the drivers, ensure the driving safety and analyze the happened traffic accidents.The developing process, the function and the present state of the vehicle traveling data recorder are analyzed in this paper. It explains the performance parameters and the composing of the whole system of the recorder. It also researches the modules of the system in detail, including the structure of the software and hardware, the function and design principles of the modules. This paper has specifically studied the collection and transaction of the speed signal and the switching signal of the vehicle traveling data recorder, and how it calculates the drive speed, mileage and the way it wipes off the jamming. The data collected by the system can be analyzed in detail through the recorder's management software.
