It is the real time-processing properties of silicon, such as the TMS320LF2407 DSP controller, the accurate asynchronous motor model and all kinds of advanced theories that have resulted in the development of a highly reliable drive with highly accurate and variable speed controls. Field Oriented Control (FOC) is one of the advanced theories, which is based on motor unification principle, energy conversion and vector coordinate transformation theory. It has many advantages such as novelty, practicability and practicality. By transforming the model of AC motor to DC motor, the stator current is decomposed into two DC parts which are orientated towards the rotor magnetic field and controlled respectively. Thus the magnetic flux and torque are decoupled. In this meaning, the asynchronous motor is controlled in a synchronous way.A new DSP chip TMS320LF2407 used in the digital motor control (DMC) was introduced, and its application in the VVVF system was discussed. The thesis introduced the actuality in the field of frequency conversion and its principle, and the mostly characteristic of DSP. A digital motor control system using V/F control and Space Vector PWM technique based on application of DSP was developed. The space vector graphs of voltage were presented better. We adopted DSP to realize the complicated vector control algorithm, the IPM6MBP100RA120 was used to enhance reliability and it also made hardware circuit simple. The system realizes the better function of frequency conversion of the motor .The motor control system based on application of DSP had lower current harmonic, more efficient use of supply voltage than SPWM, less switch loss. On the other hand, this system makes a lower noise for the PWM modulation. Frequency is up to 20KHZ. The system had the advantages of simple control, few...
