Development Of Bus Interface Conversion Card Of Automobile Air-conditioning Compressor Durability Test-bed

Compressor is the kernel parts of the automobile air-conditioning system. Its quality affects the performance of the air-conditioning system straight. According to the national standard, automobile air-conditioning compressor's durability must be tested, and achieve the target before leaving factory. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the automobile air-conditioning compressor durability test-bed.According to the development history of the durability testing technology of the automobile air-conditioning compressor, this paper designed the interface adapter of automobile air-conditioning compressor durability test-bed based on ISA bus. It implements interface transfer between ISA bus and self-defining bus. The aim is to reform the initial test-bed to satisfy the durability test requirements of the newfashioned automobile air-conditioning compressor.This test-bed adopts industrial control computer as the control core of durability test-bed. The paper researches deeply the VxD under windows 98 environment via introducing the implementation of the administer mechanism and virtual environment of windows 98 core. By analysis of different characteristic and development method when VxD access hardware resource and using VtoolsD, a driver program based on interface adapter with ISA bus is discussed. This driver is debugged successfully by SoftICE.
