With the rapid development of the field of the automobile electronic, the technology of body Bus is applied widely. LIN Bus and CAN Bus have been developed into the mainstream of Class A and B bus standard, and are high praised by many carmakers. To connect with international level is inevitable, though it is still underway to apply the bus technology on homemade cars. On the other hand, appendant products of automobile are developing rapidly, such as vehicle monitoring. It is inevitable to integrate the technology of body Bus into mobile terminal of vehicle monitoring to make the system more stable and reliable.It's design of mobile terminal of vehicle monitoring based on CAN/LIN net. This terminal based on GPS/GPRS/GSM can use LIN Bus to get data of sensors or actuators, and use CAN Bus to realize intelligent control. It not only can monitor and dispatch the vehicle, but also can function as VTDR(Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder). As restricted by the condition , it's only a simulated experiment research.The thesis is divided into six chapters:In chapter one, introduces the development of the technology of the automobile electronic and the mobile terminal of vehicle monitoring, and expounds the foundation and application of CAN Bus and LIN Bus.In chapter two, expounds the protocol specification of CAN Bus, includes some CAN glossary, the message structure, the work flow concept and other work machine.In chapter three, expounds the latest LIN Specification Package Revision 2.0, includes some LIN glossary, the frame structure, the work flow concept , diagnostic and configuration specification, and other work machine.In chapter four, describes hardware system of the design, which is one emphasis of this thesis. It presents the type of the chips selected and the schedules of every important model.
