More and more People realize the significant culture inheritance of historic town should not be regenerated one by one , It is valuable to research the way that how to protect and utilize ancient town .When we talk about historic town ,People will associate with the poetic charm environment of old trees ,alley in flagstone street and little bridge flowing water. As carrier of regional culture, ancient town is located in the specially designated geographical circumstance,and looked as expression of specially designated natural element and region context. There always are the fine natural environment , characteristic street space and colorful culture activities in ancient towns .The ancient town is part of the history culture inheritance, and it also belongs to contemporary landscaping development .Nowadays it is worthy to research and explore a suitable way to protection and development of ancient town.Ancient town reflecting the features of the region is the human settlement interacted by geographical environment and society culture. It is also the important part of historical and culture heritage of China. With the development of the South of China, the concern is increasingly in the protection of ancient town. Taking Huanglongxi ancient town as an example, the thesis is aim to finding the better ways for protection of ancient towns.
