Bayu ancient town is a sum of precious historical and cultural heritage, it is a typical of culture habitat which about Bayu ancient people live in harmony with nature, condensed Bayu culture essence and inherited Bayu historical information. It has preserved original landscape which is quite rich. Bayu ancient town’s landscape has the strong regional characteristics and national features because of the unique natural environment, geographical features, climate conditions, the religious beliefs, customs and habits. It’s rich in history, culture, art, science, education and tourism value.This paper adopts the way of combining theory and practice. I sort out the structure of choroids through a large number of documents, related theory which summed up by our predecessors, field research, survey and mapping:the impact of Bayu ancient town’s landscape formation factors--the analysis of characteristic of Bayu ancient town’s landscape--the Problems and causes of Landscape protection--Landscape Protection’s principles and countermeasures.First,The article has analyzed four factors which in influence of Bayu ancient town’s landscape shaped:climate, geography, the social cultural environment, the level of socio-economic development and traditional industry, In the macro, geography and climate environment not only determined from macroscopical on Bayu town unique natural landscape, but also from microcosmic on directly affects the Bayu town’s streets toward, architectural layout, architectural form, regional lifestyle and so on; religious culture, immigration culture, geomantic omen culture and foolk culture as one of Bayu culture is affected by the Bayu ancient town’s raditional regional architecture and rich and colorful folk customs; social economic development level decides the Bayu town traditional architectural technology, buildings and streets road landscape features; traditional farming and water in the commercial trade in this two kinds of Bayu traditional industry to towns in the overall morphology, location and function layout has manifested the region characteristic.The landscape features of Bayu ancient town respectively from the macro, meso, microscopic and Humanities:the four aspects discussed in detail.Macro level:landscape with landscape ecological holism and the heterogeneity of landscape features of the landscape spatial pattern; a plurality of Point Lookout, overlooking the object and the view landscape visual corridor; by building contour line and the contour line composed of two layers of skyline views.Meso level landscape mainly analyzes various landscape elements mutually constitutive relationship and its landscape.ecological landscape features:towns and mountain structure, town and River streets layout and landscape structure, relationship, building group layout and landscape of the relationship.Micro level landscape to narrow street space, the traditional single building, landmark landscape node space, arches, the ancient bridge landscape unit, the landscape unit landscape characteristics were analyzed in detail.Festival etiquette, customs and traditional skills of the three aspects of Bayu cultural landscape is also a major feature of the town landscape resources.Through the investigation, I summarize the Bayu ancient town landscape’s some problems which exists in protection, mainly on landscape spatial pattern of the die, the deterioration of the natural ecological environment, and the skyline view landscape landscape destruction, traditional architecture, landscape, the ruined streets aging human landscape of the weak and so on.The reasons for these problems are:the social and economic development, the impact of geographical and climatic factors, the protection measures of technology and management, the lack of financial security system and the education measures of the lag and so on. Finally, I put forward to the principles of protection which adapt to Bayu ancient town landscape resource characteristic:Bayu town landscape conservation should include ekistics five basic elements, therefore the protection should follow the principle of Bayu town; landscape with distinct regional characteristics, in the protection in should reflect local principle; through the protection of both to continuation of historical context, but also improve the living environment, reflect the dynamic development of the principle of Bayu town; landscape is a vast landscape ecological system, which requires the landscape protection should follow the principle of ecology.Following these principles are put forward on the basis of Bayu town landscape protection measures and theoretical methods:at the macro and meso level on the whole landscape spatial pattern, landscape, vegetation, natural ecological environment, overlooking the landscape, skyline to protection and control; at the micro level of street space, traditional architectural style and landscape historical and cultural landscape are protected.This paper is to summarize these town landscape resources on the basis of the characteristics, to actual survey as the main method, through the investigation to discover these town landscape protection existence question, and aimed at these questions to propose based on the discipline of landscape architecture theoretical knowledge of the relevant countermeasures, hope these countermeasures to Bayu town landscape protection work certain the reference meaning and reality value.
