Nowadays computer technology and some project application softwares such as CAX and ERP systems are developing fleetly. In order to accommodate the furious market competition, more and more manufacturing enterprises use those softwares to assist their manufacture and management. So the environment of computer integrate management system (CIMS) came into being. Because of the competition of market is more and more hotly, how to respond customers'demands quickly and improve customers'satisfaction rate are the most attentive things for enterprises. This can be concluded as two main problems: how to obtain and how to solve customers'demands in time. To an enterprise, it is just the relationship of orders and production. One of the solution is to use efficacious Master Production Schedule (MPS). MPS is an important tache in enterprise production management. Making, tailing and modifying the production planning at any moment can make sure that enterprise controls producing condition so as to reduce enterprise consume and production cost. Scientific method of arranging MPS plays an important part in controlling production storage, improving delivery rate, reducing delivery cycle and improving enterprise productivity. So, in this situation, aiming at the opportunities and challenges which manufacturing of China are facing with and the characteristics of more-variety and little-batch manufacturing enterprises which make to orders based on CIMS, this paper combine the demand for MPS system based on CIMS of TX Group, a kind of designing idea called"Researching and Development of MPS System Based on CIMS For Discrete Reducer Manufacturing Enterprise", is brought forward .In order to solve the problem of MPS optimizing calculation, a double-goal MPS model based on make-to-order enterprise is brought forward after that the enterprise actuality and difficulty have been analyzed. The model concludes JIT(Just In Time) idea and TOC(Theory of Constraints) technology. Two restrictions, producing ability of key work center and production ahead period have been grappled in the MPS model. GA is used to optimize the MPS model. After do some experimentations inside enterprise, GA has been proved to be effective and advanced.Recently, component technology develops quickly and software using this method is more mature than before, more and more people do research on it and have obtained some harvest. Basing on the component technology and combining characteristics of PowerBuilder, a kind of idea called Simple Component (SC) is brought forward in this article to optimize the performance of MPS system. SC is different from the real component technology, but after comparing with blocking system, the performance of MPS system with SC is better, so the SC can be proved to be scientific and valuable.
