Interlocked floor structure is irregular in graphics and elevation with damages in vertical inner space. It is proved that reinforced concrete structure can form plastic yield stories by seismic damage, model test and expriment. According to the regulations, we should not use the irregular design especially in the high intensity 9th area. However, with the increasing demands, we start to build interlocked buildings in this area with a new concept. With the help of finite element analysis of multi-stories and high-rise buildings and the design software SATWE made by China Academy of Building Research, I made a comparison between the interlocked floor building and the normal one and changed it into a normal one. Although anti-seismic ability of multi-stories and interlocked floor structure belong to vertical irregular structure, we can use walls of anti-seismic structure to reduce the damages caused by earthquakes. It is possible to build interlocked floor buildings in the 9th area with the concept design. After doing this study, we know clearly about the analysis of structure software and the importance of concept design in anti-seismic design.
