With the development of technology, the types of architecture become more and more diversified. The architects like to design the connected architectures because of their magnificent figuration and modern feeling. When one or more corridors were setting between two or more buildings at some height, the all system was called the connected architecture. Because of the joining of the corridor, the two monomer structures become one part of the whole structure, so compared with the monomer structures, their static property, stress mechanism varied and they are worth making further studies. It is important to do some research for the development of the connected structures.Firstly, combining the characteristics of "East Gate", the static analysis of the project in elastic stage is performed. In this paper, considering the position of the corridor, the stories of the corridor, the stiffness of the corridor and so on, the parameter analyses are done.Secondly, the static elastoplastic pushover analysis of "East Gate" is performed. First of all, the basic principle and applying range of pushover is introduced, and a detailed description of the capacity spectra theory and realization is presented. For this structure, static elastoplastic pushover analysis in two-direction is carried out. Finally, the structural behavior and the rule of collapse under serviceability and maximal earthquake are concluded. Based on the analysis and combining with national code, the seismic performance level of "East Gate" is presented. Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, some conclusions for "East Gate" are put forward. These conclusions are directly meaningful for this project and could be used as a reference for similar portal super high-rise buildings.
