With the rapid development of Chinese economic construction, high-rise buildings have been showing a booming trend. Among them, in order to increase the land utilization rate, high-rise residential building beyond the code limits are increasing. This type of construction is often highly or rules than norms, regulations limit, specific performance in highly super high, irregular plane structure etc.. Therefore, this kind of seismic design issues have become increasingly prominent, produced a huge challenge to the structure designer. The commonly used seismic design method of structure of our country at present is "three levels, two stages" method, this method has some limitations, can only be applied to meet the standard of conventional building code requirements, not applicable in overrun in architectural engineering design.Performance based seismic design is the development direction of seismic theory in recent years, this method not only put forward specific performance objectives were quantified in design, but also on the structure at different levels of quantitative description,can greatly improve the reliability of the seismic design of engineering. This paper uses the performance based seismic design method of plane Y- shaped, seismic design of a transfinite project. The main contents include:(1) The first chapter introduces the development of earthquake hazard and high-rise buildings, and then explains the situation to overrun high-rise building development direction, and introduces the definition of the gauge structure method in our country.(2) The second chapter introduces the development of performance based seismic theory, and systematically introduces the design method, which contains managed to level,performance target. Finally, combined with the standard of our country, elaborated our country performance design content.(3) The third chapter introduces the general situation of the engineering example, the detailed description of some parameters, the value about the structure, and the structure situation carries on the analysis through the review of the main points.(4) The content of the fourth chapter is the core content of this article, first developed performance objectives under different seismic performance levels for the structure. Then by using the SATWE and MIDAS Building of two different structural analysis software,the establishment of the high-rise shear wall structure model, analysis met contrast structure under seismic action, and added more elastic time history analysis. Then, through the SATWE software to modify parameters, structure of elastic seismic fortification andyield analysis and calculation. According to the calculation results, determines whether the structure reaches a predetermined performance goals. Finally, under rare earthquake, the structure of static elasto-plastic analysis by MIDAS Building and PKPM software, and the synthesis of three under the condition of earthquake response, to evaluate the seismic performance of structures.(5) In order to avoid floor uneven force on the floor, structure analysis. Based on the characteristics of the high-rise structure, through the concept of the structure design, and calculation results shows the unfavorable for software, to optimize the structure design of this project, and put forward reasonable seismic strengthening measures.(6) Through the project example analysis, the conclusion and the prospect of application problems of performance-based seismic design in structures based on.Structural seismic design of this project can provide reference for similar projects.
