Research On The Hybrid Automatic Transfer Switching Equipment Based On DSP

With the development of the power system, ATSE(Automatic Transfer Switching Equipment), one of the DFACTS (Distribution Flexible AC transmission System) has become more and more important. This paper presents a new Hybrid ATSE(HATSE)which are composed of traditional mechanical switch and power electronics commutation device. The laboratory tests prove that the hybrid ATSE has the performance of fast operating, consistency and arc limiting. The paper contains five chapters:Chapter one introduces this topic research's background, introduces the power quality's classified standard, the harm and the treating measurement, simultaneously introduces the national standard of automatic transfer switch based on which the hybrid technology characteristic and its background are also presented.Chapter two introduces the development of the ATSE, research the class of the application and various kinds of control strategy of transfer switch.Chapter three research the new-type control and protection device based on the DSP by the platform design method. The device can easily control the HATSE and make research on the key performance of it.Chapter four introduces the software structure in details.Chapter five describes this new type switch of this research item and the measure-control device as a whole, and also analyses the key performance of the hybrid switch. The performance of the operation and extinguishing arc between the traditional mechanical switch and this new switch is compared as well. it designs a experimentation, and draw conclusions about the operation performance of the HATSE.Chapter six summarizes the research work of the HATSE, and looks forward to the further research direction.
