The wind water pumping is the oldest use of wind power. In all ages, multifarious design appears. There are the Dutch windmill, the wind turbine, and the wind-electric water pumping system. But they have a lower efficiency, and cannot fully transform the energy. For abating the energy crisis, and making the irrigation and drinking mended, we aimed to design a wind-electric water pumping system that has any trait, such as it can work at an extensive wind speed range, and fully transform wind energy to water energy.The various system of wind water pumping was compared. Finally we decide to study the wind-electric water pumping. We used a wind turbine drive some electric pump. For every pump is staged connected with the wind turbine, so the system be called the staged-connected wind-electric water pumping. By studying, and analyzing the result, we concluded that it can reduce the wind speed when the system can begin to work by equipped great power wind turbine or choosing minitype pump. The system can work at the wind speed range which the wind turbine can work at. The efficiency of the system is obvious increased. When the system is working, the efficiency can fluctuate between the maximum and the minimum. For the system that equipped with 2.5KW wind turbine and four screw electric pumps, the maximum is 28%, and the minimum is 23%. If the pressure is equal, the flux of the staged-connected wind-electric water pumping is less than the system by adjusting the frequency to enlarge the wind speed range. As comparing them at the flux and the cost, the staged-connected wind-electric water pumping is predominant. And the average power for 1m3/h water is less than the wind-electric water pumping.But then the staged-connected wind-electric water pumping need be studied all the same, Such as the capacity of the storage cell; the how long that the cell be connected; the importing voltage of the every pump. We need validate the rationality that the wind speed can be reduced when the system can begin to work by equipped great power wind turbine or choosing minitype pump.
