With economic development and the emergence of new retail forms , commercial architecture has been growing concern. At the same time, consumption has significance beyond the purchase of commodities, it includes the consumption environment, consumer culture, consumption of self-perceived and other aspects of "symbols value." Commercial architecture has being constant changed in the process of retail forms with the consumer behaviour mutually promotionThis essay talks the architectural perspective as a basic point, then combining sociology, economics and behavioural theory. after finishing the research on the interior enviroment of commercial architecture, it also analyses the consumer behaviour, and searches for commercial architecture design principles with exploring new consumer demands.The paper originated from the beginning of the first study illustrates the significance of the study. In a clear position of 'conception and the scope of the study', the article researches the development course of commercial architecture, along with the change of the retail forms. Subsequently, the article analyses and appraisals the personal perspective, which is"consumer demand is an incentive to changes in the interior environment of commercial architecture". Then, the prerequisite to this view, the focus of the research is how to shape the interior space and create the atmosphere, and explores in detail the various components of the design principles. On this basis, in conjunction with field research experience, the paper analyses the design deficiencies of the current interior enviroment of commercial architecture, provides appropriate solutions and direction to their development. Finally, the assignment takes Shanghai Super Brand Mall as an example to analyse its success in the design of the interiol environment, as previously dealt with the content of the strong corroboration.The aim of this paper just try to provide a new perspective of the research on commercial architecture, as a continuation of the previous research results and added that future work in this area. meanwhile, it has a certain significance on present and future time commercial architecture design work.
