Compared with conventional concrete, Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) possesses excellent properties such as ultra-high strength, high toughness and high durability etc. Application of RPC for structural design can lighten the weight of buildings, improve structure durability and reduce the maintenance expense. RPC200 constitutive relationship is the foundation for nonlinear finite element analysis and research on structural design theory. As the particularity of producing principle and mechanics performance, conventional concrete constitutive relationship is unfit for RPC.In this paper, RPC200 constitutive relationship and mechanics performance have been studied based on elasto-plastic theory and experimental investigation of RPC200 strength and deformation under uniaxial compression state. The results follow as:1. Based on the test methods of high strength and performance concrete in uniaxial compression, a proper method has been designed for obtaining RPC200 stress-strain whole curve by lots of tries. It is successful to gain the descending curve of RPC200.2. The stress-strain curve constitutive model equation of RPC200 under uniaxial compression has been founded by strictly mathematic deduction on the base of conventional concrete equation forms. Correlation parameters have been fitted too.3. The relationship between RPC200 prismoid strength and cube strength is established by measuring cube strength of RPC pieces with the same mixture ratio, and proportionality coefficient confirmed is 0.92.4. Through systemic experimental research, it is found that Poisson's ratio is nearly constant in the elastic range of RPC. The typical value of secant Poisson's ratio is 0.19. Also, RPC200 failure shapes and deformation process under uniaxial compression has been studied by academic analysis.5. The high mechanism of RPC200 has been studied tentatively from centroplasm hypothesis, most density theory, mechanics analysis and silicon powder contribution for RPC.
