Rail transit is an efficient way of solving urban transportation with the characteristics of big capability, high speed and low energy consuming. At the same time, organization of train operation as the core of the rail transportation producing can make sure the Rail transit bring into play.Nowadays, the number of the rail transit's line is small and the structure is very simple, especially the organization of train operation isn't thought much of. Much people don't realize the key influence of the organization of train operation for raising urban rail transit system's efficiency. Therefore, the study of the organization of train operation is quit forward and profound.The organization of train operation must match the structure of rail transit, so this paper consider the basic line relations as the foundation in traffic network ,and abstracts five characteristic structures of urban rail transit, which lays the way of the research in the organization of train operation in rail network.Then this paper introduces the concept of the"buffer time"into the train intervals for researching the transport capacity of rail transit, and modifies the carrying capacity of rail transit. At the same time the concept of"distance"is bring into the capacity, it puts forward the traffic network capacity of rail transit, and analysis the characteristics and influence factors.In studying the organization of train operation in traffic network, this paper takes the passenger traffic as an entry point, and through explaining the differences of passenger traffic between traffic network and single line, analyzed the time and space characteristics of the passenger traffic in rail transit network. Then, study the methods and principles about the organization of train operation under the circumstance of different characteristics of passenger trafficThen take the lines characteristic as another entry point, and divide the lines into center lines and suburb lines in radiate and ring lines network. For the ring lines, paper introduces the concept of passenger acceptable time, sees the ring's train interval as a cycle, then takes the minimum waiting time of a transfer passenger and the maximum operation cost of a transfer station as the object functions to build up two models.
