| The vibration roller is an important device in a road construction. Its overall and vibration parameters are the key factors which determine the operation performance of the roller. The right choice of these parameters will affect the quality and work efficiency of not only the compaction process but also the whole construction. This paper intends to find the proper design method and value range of the parameters from the perspective of "solid-machine" system mechanics.The vibration compaction theory is studied and perfected in this paper; After analyzing the classical dynamical mode of the "machine-solid" system, a new dynamical mode with 5-degree of freedom is built; Using the Pro/E and ADAMS software, a virtual vibration roller with 5-degree of freedom is built, then the influences of the system parameters on the frequency response are discussed and the condition of Jump of the Roller is analyzed. On the basis of the simulation results and existing researching achievements, together with optimal design, the design method and value range of the parameters of the roller are given.In the final, the achievements of this study are summarized and the issues required further studies are discussed. |
