The text mainly studys on the system of self-archored suspension bridge comparatively, includeing the limit span, structure stability, static performance, dynamic performance of different structure forms, and so on, in order to provide theory foundation for project contrast, design, analysis method and structure optimizing, etc.First, the text depicts and summarizes the development of self-archored suspension bridge, includeing development history, development actuality, main conformations and corresponding functions, main structure forms, advantages, disadvantages and so on. Second, limit span resolution formula of self-archored suspension bridge is deduced through mechanics analysis based on basic parameters and the assumed conditions, then the resoluteion formula is further analyzed to summarize the influence to self-archored suspension bridge of different influence factors. Third, the main girder and main tower's structure stability of self-archored suspension bridge is analyzed based on Ningbo Qingfeng Bridge as engineering background, then the stability critical load formula of main girder in plane and longitudeinal main tower is deduced based on many factors, and is made contrast with the FEM result, then the result indicates that self-archored suspension bridge which is designed in reason has good structure stability. Forth, the analysis theory of self-archored suspension bridge is summarized and discussed, then the influence to self-archored suspendsion bridge's performance of dead and live load with respect to different structure forms and the change of structure parameters is studied, based on which the structure optimizing of special self-archored suspension bridge is made, then the deflection is analyzed and the deflection formula of self-archored suspension bridge is deduced, and at last, self-archored suspension bridge's essence is discussed and equivalent beam theory is founded elementarily. Fifth, self-archored suspension bridge's dynamic character is analyzed and made contrast with trational suspension bridge, then the influence to self-archored suspension bridge's dynamic character with respect to different structure forms and the change of structure parameters is...
