Research On The Mould Design Of Pulp Molded Products

Pulp molded products, As the later excellent industry,have the obvious characters of broad materials origin, simple manufacture techniques, no pollution, easily degradable, returnable, recycle and environment friendly styles. The pulp molded products was formed by vacuum absorption on the forming mould, so the mould design and its development are the crux in the production of the pulp molding.The pulp molded product and its mould was designed by using of the Pro/E platform. Since the mould structure has close relation with the pulp molded structures, so it is designed by the mold design module of Pro/E. The pulp molded product and its mould that designed in this thesis contains the one-off tableware, the packaging box and the box that used in the inner industrial package. Meanwhile, in order to explain the corresponding relations and the influences between the pulp molded and its mould, the second developing language Pro/TOOLKIT was used, by adding auxiliary menu and buttons in Pro/E to demonstrate the pulp molded and its mould designed in this thesis and the parametric design of the Packaging box. However, because of the complexity of the pulp molded structure, it is very difficult to regenerate its mould by program totally, so in the design of this thesis, we have defined parameters partly, the parameters that defined in the Packaging box including the thickness of pulp molded product, the radius of the corner and the mould pitch. And we just defined two parameters in its corresponding mould, including the radius of the corner and the mould pitch.
