Design Of Dual-mode Hands-free Car Kit Based On Bluetooth Technology

Bluetooth technology is a world wide open standard for wireless data and voice communication, it is built upon low cost local area wireless connection with which a short range wireless channel can be set up between fixed and mobile devices. Bluetooth technology connects portable computers and cellular phones wirelessly. This achievement leads to an even closer relationship between computer and communication and enables people exchanging data at anywhere and anytime. Bluetooth technology is more and more demanded for those small-scale consumption terminal products to get off the inconvenience caused by the cables. Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit which is introduced in the thesis is just one of them.The thesis begins with summarizing the background of Bluetooth Technology, of which the features, advantages and market foreground are introduced followed. Then from structure aspect, it introduces Bluetooth Core Specification, protocols, profiles and the relationship between them. After the compare of three different implementation of Bluetooth protocol stack, the wholly embedded single processor solution is adopted.In addition, following with the introduction of the Bluetooth development kit and firmware download tools, the Bluetooth Module of which the core is BlueCore02-External produced by CSR is described in detail. Also it is the core of the whole Bluetooth Car Kit. Then it introduces the design and implementation of hardware circuit and application program in the actual development process.In the end, the debug process, final realization of product function, problems in the whole development process and the aspects that need to be improved are introduced briefly. And the summary of the Bluetooth Car Kit development process is presented.
