CS panel structure is a promising structural system, whose developments and applications adapt well to the reformation of wall material in China. In order to realize the popularization and application of CS panel structure as a substitute for masonry structure in seismic zone, the seismic performance of this structure was discussed and analyzed in this paper, basing on the experimental research of CS panel and finite element analysis. Meanwhile, the simplified computing methods for lateral stiffness and internal force were acquired.First, the developments of new structure styles were introduced in brief, as well as the theory of nonlinear static analysis (Push-Over). Homogeneous constitutive relations were proposed and confirmed for composite in the CS panel, as a basis of the seismic analysis and evaluation of CS panel structure. Second, the nonlinear static finite element analysis of a residential CS panel structure was employed using the software of ANSYS, and then its seismic performance was evaluated. Thus, its seismic bearing capacity and application scope were confirmed, as well as its failure characteristic and weak components, which are applicable to actual design.Third, through the finite element analysis on multiform CS wall panels, the factors concerned with their seismic behavior were indicated. The simplified computing methods for CS wall panel were defined too, including lateral stiffness, internal force as well as the criteria on the sorts of walls. In addition, the relationship between the stiffness of CS panel structure and that of CS wall panel was discussed. Finally, conclusions were educed according to the results gained, and then measures to improve the seismic performance of CS panel structure and the advice for design were given.
