The marine power system is the core of the power system of the ship. It plays an important role in determining the marine's cost control, technical merit and maximum service life.the present parallel operation process has very complex hardware system, which also has lower accuracy, is more difficult to operate and needed to improve with advanced processor chip.Based on work of developing the marine power system automatic frequency and power modulation tuner, this thesis is going to explore how the timing system of the automatic parallel operation switchgear works, and the development method of the control panel of the whole system. It elaborates on the Digital Signal Processing technology (DSP) of drawing the pulse voltage envelop curve with Hilbert Transform according to the Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm. It is also about parameter selection with the use of TMS320LF2407A to complete the before-mentioned process. It greatly simplifies the external hardware circuit by using DSP TMS320LF2407A modulus ADC unit to get sampling value of the pulse voltage, and then using software design approach to get the minimum value of the pulse voltage signal envelop value and to later figure out the synchronous point at which two signal phases meet. The DSP TMS320LF2407A, which has great operation capacity, can increase the system's reaction velocity and time control accuracy. It has practical use in the development of the marine power system automatic parallel operation switchgear.The article also focuses on the hardware interface circuit of the system's control panel, the software flow pattern, and the user-defined COM protocol between the DSP TMS320LF2407 and SCM AT89S52. The operators can not only get various parameters of each power set directly from the LCD module, but also can operate the DSP TMS320LF2407 system manually on keyboard, such as input various parameters or control on and off of the electric generating set, etc. The control panel, which is comprised of keyboard and LCD module, has very clear and user-friendly menu system.
