With the development of industry and agriculture, industrial control on the electric power system reliability are requirements increasing, in some reliability and security requirements of relatively high field, the Ship Power Station on the control of power facilities,monitor and manage become more and more important. In order to achieve the reliability of operation control and management Ships Power Station, raise the level of automation management in the unattended engine room, in this paper, we apply advanced industrial control technology and computer technology to enhance the ship power system's reliability and economy. And design a system of Ship Power Station automatic management.To achieve PLC logic control, the power station is consisted of three automatic management systems. One of PLCs' major task is to accomplish control data acquising and paralleling, the other two PLC s' tasks is to collect the singals of the two generators, such as voltage and current signals. The three PLC communicate through Profibus-DP. And master computer is installed with WinCC configuration software. Between the computer and PLC,they communicate via MPI/CP5611,using the graphical operation interface to make the master computer have functions of acquisition,query,display and record etc.This paper focuses on the application of Ship Power Station's PLC (Programmable logic controller) automatic management system, to make it automatically and accurately paralleling,automatic disengaging,Automatic FM functions and so on. And then discuss the feasibility of PLCs' as the main control unit of a ship's paralleling automatic control system, design the ship's automatic control system management at the core of Siemens S7-300 PLC. And using the MPI network connects the WinCC, the PLC procedures for real-time monitoring. By using the Siemens STEP 7 5.4 programming software to design power station operational control Ladder Diagram,STL language and PLC communication network, with the Siemens WinCC configuration software configurating and monitoring interface. So that we can realize the data acquisition and control the output device operating safely,High-speedly and efficiently and filnally achieve the function of automatic monitor in the power station automatic management system.
