Measurement of electric parameter is quite popular since power system is build up. The automation of electric power system is always one of the goals. With modern development and enormous progress of technology at full speed of industry, measurement and control instrument trade goes through a great change. On one hand, modern semiconductor craft and progress of technology have offered the realistic foundation for research and development of intelligent instrument; on the other hand, traditional technology and device can not meet the request of the scientific and technological progress more and more. As one of the most basic trades in the country, it is an inexorable trend to realize the automation of the power system. With the popularization of the national electric market policy, the request for automation of the power system is higher and higher. Modern electric parameter measurement not merely requires carrying on simple parameter, it also demands a lot of operation, analysis by measurement, synthesis of every module. As the basic function of automatic power system , it is essential to use the occasion in each electricity.This article puts forward an instrument that applies to automatic electric energy measurement and charge used by transformer substations or some large users. Its application fields are substation automation, intelligent building, electric energy management inside enterprises, power quality measurement, management and examination.This thesis proposes multi-functional electric parameter systematic design principle and whole system of monitoring instruments internal and believe to the outside further under actual background of project, and has carried on relevant demonstration to this scheme. Then the detailed introduction regards SPI interface as the operation principle and course of the systematic multi-processor systems on foundation of communication, and provide the relevant software and hardware to design.Finally, some suggestions are present to improve the performance.At the same time, some summaries of ideas and experiences have also been introduced, including discussing the development trends and structure characteristics of the modern instrument that explains while comparing in the scheme of the system, error wave record technology and how to choose serial communication devices, etc.
